Juan Carlos Martínez
Born in Haro, La Rioja, Juan Carlos Martínez has an extensive career in different Denominations of Origin, from the D.O. Toro, where he spent his first years as a technical manager, to D.O. Ribera del Duero, where he has partaken in projects initiated by Bodegas Alión and Bodegas Arzuaga. Experimentation and research have been the qualities that have most stood out in his professional trajectory, in which he has been the sole manager of different projects involved in experimenting in vineyards and drawing up the Regulatory Board of Ribera del Duero.
In 2016 he returned to his homeland and took up in Bodegas Obalo the challenge of creating a line of wines that follows the tradition he has lived since he was born, while contributing with the particular vision he has obtained throughout his career.
